2024 COLORS OF JAZZ ALL-STARS ~ Live In Studio50 celebrating HERStory!💜☮️ Words can’t express my excitement for the opportunity to produce our 2024 Women’s History Month concert. Women have historically been underrepresented in the art form of Jazz, and we seek to elevate their role as instrumentalists, and band leaders.

I assembled an amazing intergenerational band of musicians, and they came together to perform a lively set! Plus… my creative side was inspired to design this very cool flyer!

NEW BOOK RELEASE: Bonnie has joined forces with visionary writer, Reverend Melony McGant, to co-author GOOD IS POWERFUL BEYOND MEASURE: AN ANTHOLOGY OF HOPE (McGant, 2024). With more than 100 contributors, the book pays tribute to the legacies of Ben Vereen, and Sweet Honey In The Rock co-founders Carol Maillard, and Louise Robinson, on the occasion of the fifty year anniversary of the GRAMMY Award winning a cappella ensemble. This anthology offers an inspirational collection short stories, reflective writing, and poetry that celebrates contemporary Black History!
