Winter JazzFest 2023: Feeling Fuchsia At NuBlu

I was off and running in the WinterJazzFest Marathon 2023, when I stopped at NuBlu - NYC. I found myself too captivated by the music to leave. This year the festival did something new by offering jazz lovers concerts from borough to borough, venue to venue. Friday night started with Manhattan venues, then Saturday in Brooklyn. I stayed out upon walking into a DJ spinning up a set that had the crowd, including myself, up on our feet and dancing. My spirit was uplifted by the music, fuchsia, hot pink and vivid as the room. NuBlu provided an interestingly intimate space for great views, looking down on the stage, in a full house.
